  Obituary	Katie Marie Doby, 35 of Graham passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2023. Katie was born on October 7, 1987. She was the daughter of Donald Terry Hughes and Penny Black Hughes and the daughter of the late Eric Drew Doby. Katie also had worked at Wal-Mart as a sales associate for 5 years and 8 years as a crew member at McDonald’s. Katie is survived by two daughters Kayleigh Nichole Moorefield and Kahliah Citrine-Ice Doby; two sisters Jennifer Longest Ely and Belinda Doby Hood, one brother Charlie Thomas Doby and stepmother Connie May Doby. She is also survived by two aunts Tammy Black Hill – Dixon and Diane Doby May and Uncle Richard Doby, Jr. Grandmother Elma May Doby and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, from 12-2 pm at Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel. You may share an online condolence by visiting www.omegafsc.com.
