  Obituary	Ms. Nancy Faye King Venable, 66, of 1297 Galax Trail, Mount Airy, passed away Tues, 7Apr2009, at Twelve Oaks Retirement Center. Ms. Venable was born 18 Mar 1943, in Surry Co. to Claude Allen King & the late Grace Olivia Wilmoth King. Nancy did clerical work for several trucking companies in the Winston-Salem area for several years & was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her father, Claude Allen King of Mount Airy; a sister & brother-in-law, Barbara & Ken Nowlin of Mount Airy; a niece, Tonya Ratcliff of Mount Airy; two nephews & their wives, Kenny & Amy Nowlin of Mount Airy & Joel & Anne Nowlin of Winston-Salem; & several great nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Friday, 10 Apr 2009, at 2:00PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, with Pastor David Burgess & the Rev. Todd E. Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30PM until time for the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030, or to Calvary Baptist Church, 314 South Franklin Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
