    Obituary Mrs. Cora Bell Lewis Doby, 83, died Sunday, October 9, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Ed and Nannie Lewis. She was a native of Alamance County and attended the Orange County schools. She was employed by Brown Wooten Hosiery. She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Marvin O. Doby; one son, Wayne Doby (Gloria) of Mebane; two daughters, Patricia Parker (Clifford) of Dallas, GA, and Janice Chappel Mark) of Burlington; five sisters, Sadie Leigh of Altamahaw, Irene Shields of Mebane, Dorothy Jordan of Elon, Ruby Squires of Mebane, and Mildred Lewis of Mebane; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Doby was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, October 11, at Hebron United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:45 AM Tuesday in the church sanctuary prior to the service. Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W. Center Street, Mebane, NC 27302 (919) 563-9211 is assisting the Doby family.
