    Obituary F. T. Edmonds, 56, of Kinney street, died on Thursday evening, April 1, at 9:50 following an illness of several months. He was a native of Surry county and the son of the late Thomas Edmonds and Mrs. Susan Edmonds. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the New Home church near Mount Airy, with interment following in the church cemetery. Rev. Nance will have charge of the services. He is survived by his wife of the home; four sons, R. R., R. G., W. Hal, and R. F. Edmonds, all of the home; two daughters, Mrs. W. T. Coe, of the home, Mrs. Elton Stewart, of Greensboro; his mother, Mrs. Susan Edmonds of Surry County; three sisters, Mrs. R. H. Bledsoe, Mrs. E. R. Bledsoe and Mrs. Thomas Bledsoe, all of Surry County; three grandchildren. (The Daily Times-News of Burlington, NC. 2 Apr 1937. Page 9.)
