She was born on May 14, 1939, in Henry County, VA, to the late Lena Elizabeth Wirt Eanes and Charlie Hibert Eanes. Audrey had an immense love for her family. She enjoyed spending time with them every moment she had, especially her son and grandchildren. Audrey was extremely fond of gardening and was known for her yard full of flowers. She was an incredibly kind soul. She will be missed greatly by those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James O. Doby; a son, Terry Ray Doby; a grandson, Jaylyn Welch; as well as five siblings, Lilly Elizabeth Eanes Sapp, Gene Hilbert Eanes, Helen Ann Eanes McDaniel, Linda Faye Eanes Owenby, and Margaret Francis Eanes Sheffield.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Michael Doby; four grandchildren, Steven Doby, Stephanie Doby, Jenny Farrington (Jerry), and Jaime Wall (Daniel); five great-grandchildren, Jordyn Welch, Bailee Farrington, Carson Wall, Tanner Farrington, and Kinsley Wilson; as well as four siblings, Charles Lee Eanes, James Leonard Eanes, David Allen Eanes, and Betty Sue Eanes Pegg.
