  Obituary	Effie Mae Hammock Walker, age 77, of Danville, died February 20, 2015 at Riverside Healthcare and Rehab Center. Mrs. Walker was born on November 25, 1937 in Danville Va. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Hammock and the late Bessie Mae Hammock. She had lived most of her life in Danville, Va. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Walker. She was married to John Thomas Walker who predeceased her on December 8, 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Teresa Diane Sparks, two sons, Thomas Lewis Walker and Gary Michael Walker, a daughter in law, Cindy Walker of Danville, VA seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Steve Edward Walker. Interment will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
