  Obituary	Jessica Yvonne Doby gained her wings on January 13, 2024, after years of braving the chronic illness of Crohns Disease. Jessica passed away peacefully at home with family by her side. Jessica is survived by her mother, April Doby; grandmother, Brenda Doby; brother, Adrain Doby; best friend, Chasity Jones; grandfather, Coy Doby; nieces, McKenzy and Temperance; nephew, Branch; aunt, Wendy Howerton; and father, Keith Doby. Jessica was born on March 9th, 1992, in Greensboro, North Carolina. She spent most of her life in Burlington, North Carolina, where she found a love for horses and drawing. At the age of sixteen, Jessica was diagnosed with a life-changing chronic illness. Jessica battled Crohns Disease for 15 years. One thing to know about Jessica is that this diagnosis did not define her. While fighting this disease, she perservered. She won multiple horse showmanship champion titles, raced dirtbikes, graduated with her GED, and lived life to the fullest of her capability. Those closest to her described her as radiant, optimistic, strong-minded, compassionate, and most of all, resilient. As part of her final wishes, a celebration of life will be held on February 3, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at Life Walk Church in Surf City, North Carolina.
