    Obituary Mr. Arnold Gray Doby, 75, of Dobson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Surry County on October 4, 1937 to the late Alonza E. and Eva Mae Corder Doby and was a member of North Main Church of Christ. Mr. Doby was retired from Cooper Industries as the General Manager after many years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard, having proudly served. Left to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife of 57 years, Alda Pilson Doby of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Mark Kulhawick of Hatboro, PA; a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony Gray "Tony" and Norma Doby of Dobson; his beloved grandchildren, Stephanie Holder and husband Blake, Ashley Clancy, Amber Clancy, Abbi Kulhawick; two step-grandchildren, Kristin and Chad Johnson; two great-grandchildren, Peyton and Brooke Holder ; one sister and brother-in-law, Lois Ann and Ted Stanley of Dobson and their children, Brian Stanley and LeAnn McCraw. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home for their loving and compassionate care.
