    Mrs. Eva Corder Doby, 67, of Rt. 2, Dobson, wife of Alonzo Doby, died Tuesday night at N.C. Baptist Hospital after a short illness. She was born April 26, 1914, in Surry County to the late R.R. and Parthenia Bowman Corder. She was a member of New Home Church of Christ. Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Ted (Lois Ann) Stanley of Rt. 2, Dobson; one son, Arnold Gray Doby of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Miss Lee Ann Stanley and Brian Stanley, both of Rt. 2, Dobson, Miss Robin Alda Doby and Tony Doby, both of Raleigh; one sister, Mrs. Joe (Lillie) Atkins of Tr. 8, Mount Airy; three brothers, Gaither Corder of Kernersville, Dillard Corder of Rt. 2, Dobson and Claude Corder of Archdale. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at New Home Church of Christ by Brothers Carroll Lankford and Glenn Waters. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Moody Funeral Home in Mt. Airy until taken to the church for services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Home Church of Christ Building Fund.
