  Obituary	David Allen Doby, 52, of Siler City died Monday, (03-05-07) at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, (03-09-07) at New Home Church of Christ in Dobson with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Doby was a native of Surry County, a member of New Home Church of Christ, and was a farmer and livestock dealer. Survivors include his wife, Elaine Russ Doby of the home; father, Georga A. Doby; stepmother, Bertie Doby; sons, Abraham Doby, Matthew Doby, all of Dobson, Isaiah Doby of Mt. Airy; sister, Deborah Doby Chilton of Pilot Mountain; and five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday (03-08-07) at Smith and Buckner Funeral Home, and one hour prior to the service at New Home Church of Christ in Dobson. At other times, they will be at the family home. Memorials may be made to the family, 2791 Piney Grove Church Road, Siler City, NC 27344.
