    Biography Ruby Ellen Parker was born on October 31, 1913, in Surry County, North Carolina, to Harden Lee Parker and Nancy Lula (Doby) Parker. She was married to Raymond Esker Venable around 1929. Raymond was born on December 4, 1908, in Surry County, to Luther Paris Venable and Rosa Lillian (Key) Venable. He passed away on November 11, 1955, in Ararat, Surry County, and was buried at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Water, Surry County. After Raymond passed away, Ruby married a Mr. Inman around 1975. There are no records for this marriage other than Ruby’s name change with Social Security. Ruby was married again, around 1992 to Webster Alexander Moser. Webster was born on March 26, 1917, in Surry County, to Charles Webster Moser and Martha Louise (Cranfill) Moser. He passed away on February 10, 2006, and was buried at Oakdale Cemetery in Mount Airy, Surry County. Ruby passed away on December 30, 2006 in Surry County, and was buried at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Water, Surry County.

She was born in Surry County on Oct. 31, 1913, to Hardin Lee Parker and Lula Nancy Doby Parker. Mrs. Moser was married to Webster Alexander Moser and retired from Spencers of Mount Airy. Mrs. Moser was preceded in death by husbands Raymond Venable and Webster Alexander Moser; a son, Harold Venable; and a daughter, Glenda V. Sutphin. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Venable off Tobaccoville and Luther Parker Jr. and Alma Venable of Mount Airy; daughter-in-law Wanda Venable of King; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a step-grandson; and a step-great-grandchild.
