    Obituary Everett William “Ebb” Doby, age 91, of Mebane, died on Saturday August 10, 2019 at his residence. Everett was a native of Pittsylvania County, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents William P. Doby and Neelie Stanley Doby. Ebb is survived by his wife of 69 years Anna Lee Hill Doby, daughter Debbie Doby Shanklin and husband Don of Mebane, son Greg Doby of Burlington, two grandsons David Shanklin and wife Donna and Daniel Shanklin and wife Grace, three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, brother, Gurney Doby and wife Mary of Mebane. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday August 13, 2019 in the Chapel of Walker’s Funeral Home and Crematory of Mebane located at 304 West Center Street. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mebane. The visitation will be on Monday evening August 12 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Walker’s Funeral Home and Crematory of Mebane.
