  Obituary	Mr. Bobby Lynn Doby, Sr., 59, of Mount Airy, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008, at Northern Hospital of Surry County. Mr. Doby was born April 19, 1949, in Surry County, son of the late Virgil and Lula Wright Doby. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith Doby of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Tracy and Chris Gomez of Mount Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Bobby Lynn Doby, Jr. and fiancee, Sharon Williams, and Chad and Jennifer Doby, all of Mount Airy; five grandchildren, Joshua Gomez, Jordan Gomez, Brittany Doby, Kirsten Doby, and Amanda Williams; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Laura Doby of Dobson and Ralph and Gerline Doby of Kernersville. The funeral service will be held Friday, November 14, 2008, at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Parrish and the Rev. Darren Slate, and burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. (Published online by Moody Funeral Service and Crematory.)
