She was born in Stokes County on August 9, 1961 to the late Randvil Lane and Becky Ann Shelton Bullins. Jean was a crafter and attended many craft shows. She lived for her family and was very family-oriented.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Herman Lane Bullins.
Jean is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, William Gray Doby; daughter, Renee Hayden (Junior); son, Randall Doby (Andrea); 2 brothers, Randy Bullins and David Bullins (Patricia); 6 grandchildren, Amber, Matthew, Landon, Harley, Hunter, and Karleigh; a great-grandchild, Henry; and special nieces and nephew.
There will be an 3:30 pm graveside service held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Wilson Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Marion officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Burroughs Funeral Home. Social distancing guidelines apply and face coverings are required. Online condolences may be made at www.burroughsfuneralhome.com.
